Happy New Year
December 22nd, 2005
As the joyful feast of Christmas approaches, the Wood family is very busy with preparations. The weekend before Christmas found all the family grateful to be back together again as our two oldest girls, Elizabeth and Deirdre, returned home from college. We are happy that they are together at Thomas Aquinas College, but we miss them very much! As soon as we were all together again, we decorated our home and Christmas tree, and began the process of Christmas baking and card sending. Admist the flurry of preparations, we are having fiddle and dance practices to be in good shape for our upcoming performance at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.

We are looking forward to performing for the Holiday Celebration at the Dorothy Chandler for the third consecutive year; it has almost become a Wood family tradition! We perform in the beautiful theater, then eat a dinner at a lovely restaurant next to the theater, then walk across the street to the Cathedral of Los Angeles, Our Lady of the Angels for carols and midnight Mass. After all the whirlwind of effort to prepare for the glorious feast, tremendous peace decends upon us as we perform together to bring Christ's joy to our audiences, then eat together and attend the first Mass of Christmas.

We wish all of you a happy Christmas and a New Year filled with the peace of Christ!
Love,
all the members of Celtic Spring
